WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: THE HORNET LEGACY CONTINUES

Former FC women's basketball coach Debi Woelke had a positive impact on all of her players, and she can still watch two play today in Amanda Frost and Aunjanay Chambers.

A FC Hall of Fame inductee in 2017, Woelke played for Fullerton College (1976-78) and coached (1997-2014). She loves bringing out the best in people taking great pride in her former players. A few weeks ago, Woelke got to enjoy a Women's Drew League playoff game in Los Angeles that featured two former Hornet standouts.

Aunjanay Chambers (2011 & 2012) and Amanda Frost (2011) played against one another with some of the best basketball players in the league, including Essence Carson & Odyssey Sims (both former players for the LA Sparks) and current LA Sparks player Chelsea Gray.

It is moments like these that make you proud to be a Hornet.

Come out and watch the next FC women's basketball home game against district rival Cypress College on Wendnesday, January 22. Tipoff is at 6:00 pm.
