WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM ANNOUNCED
Four FC basketballers earned All-Orange Empire Conference honors this week after wrapping up a 16-win season.
Sophomore guards Moriah Serrano and Hannah Jones were 1st Team All-OEC selections. Sophomore forward Shenise West and freshman forward Angela Zendejas earned 2nd Team.
Now a two-time 1st Team recipient, Serrano led the Hornets in scoring with a 10.9 average. She has finished the season averaging 3.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds.
A slasher who can penetrate the key, Jones was second on the team in scoring with an average of 10.3 points per game with 6.5 rebounds.
An athletic presence under the basket, West led the Hornets in rebounds with 8.2 a game. She also averaged 5.7 points and 2.3 blocks.
Gifted with length, athletic ability, and a strong sense for the game, Zendejas put up 8.8 points a contest with 4.8 rebounds.
