COBB CALLS MARYLAND HOME

Former FC standout basketball player Noelle Cobb continues to make a name for herself as a top assistant coach recently taking a job at the University of Maryland where she will be the Director of Recruiting.

Noelle Cobb played for the Fullerton College women's basketball team from 2013 to 2015 under head coach Marcia Foster. She and Kelli Calton both led the team in scoring during the 2013-14 season with 11.6 points per game. Cobb's sophomore campaign saw more success as she earned 1st team All-Orange Empire Conference honors while leading the team in scoring with 15.1 points per game. In all, Noelle totaled scoring 738 points, 339 rebounds, 115 assists, and 72 steals. She ranks third overall in points scored in a single game with 38 against Saddleback on January 16, 2015.

Cobb graduated from Fullerton and moved on to the University of La Verne where she averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds per game, while shooting 48.0 percent.

Noelle came to College Park after spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Kennesaw State. Prior to her time at Kennesaw, she was with the University of Miami women's basketball staff in June 2019 as the video coordinator. Cobb began at UNC Greensboro, where she served as a graduate assistant. She was then promoted as an assistant coach.
