WOMEN'S SOCCER: HORNETS SHUT DOWN MUSTANGS

In an Orange Empire Conference game, the FC women's soccer team won 3-0 at Norco despite a scorching heat wave on Tuesday.

The win marks FC's third in a row cranking them up to second place in the OEC with a record of 7-1-3. Santiago Canyon College is in first at 10-1-1. The Mustang's loss keeps them winless in conference-play with a record of 0-12.

The Hornets put the game away early scoring all of their goals in the first half. Brianna Remedios took a pass from Tatsiana Loscutoff in the 7th minute and blasted the ball into the net for the first goal.

The second goal came in the 26th minute on a shot by Riley Thomsen. The assist came from Brooke Morris.

Fullerton went up 3-0 in the 32nd minute when Andrea Zuniga fed Remedios the ball in front midway from the goal where she kicked it in for the score.

The FC defense kept the ball out harm's way through the game with goalie Savannah Dyer having 1 save in 90 minutes of work.

Up Next: The Hornets (10-2-3 overall, 7-1-3 OEC) will play again this Friday, October 27th at home against Orange Coast College. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
