The FC women's soccer team battled it out at home against Orange Coast College on Tuesday and lost it in the second half 3-0.
The Hornets (1-5 overall) hung tough with the Pirates (6-2-1) in the first half keeping their opponent scoreless. The only problem was that Fullerton was scoreless as well.
OCC took over in the second half scoring three unanswered goals the 50th, 57th, and 75th minutes to win the Orange Empire Conference opener.
FC goalie Haley Abeelen had 6 saves with 3 goals against in the game.
Up Next: Fullerton (1-5 overall, 0-1 OEC) will play another OEC game this Friday, September 29th at Irvine Valley College. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
