The Hornets hosted OEC rival Santa Ana College on Tuesday afternoon and scored three goals in the second half to knock off the Dons 3-0.

Both teams struggled to score in the first half with Fullerton having a significant number of close opportunities.

The game swung heavily in FC's favor towards the end of the game with Sheccid Carrillo scored the first goal on a free kick in the 68th minute. A few minutes later, the Hornets scored again when Yonne Ventura booted the ball in from Yaritza Morales' cross assist. Carillo knocked in her second goal of the game in the 88th minute to secure the win. Danielle Narmi was credited with the assist.

Haley Abeelen got the start in the goal box and then moved to defender in the second half. Nyla Contreras took over in the second half and had 3 saves.

Up Next: Fullerton (2-6 overall, 1-2 OEC) will have another OEC home game this Friday, October 6th when Saddleback College comes to campus. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
