HORNETS TUMBLE AT ORANGE COAST

HORNETS TUMBLE AT ORANGE COAST: The FC women's volleyball squad opened conference-play at OCC Friday night falling in four games 3-1: 25-21, 9-25, 13-25, 17-25.

FC opened up the match with a win in game one against the undefeated Pirates but OCC proved to be too strong sweeping the next three games.

Sophomore Jordyn Hecker led the Hornets with 15 kills while freshman Shawnna Chung chipped in with 11 of her own.

Up Next: Riding a four-game losing streak, FC (4-4, 0-1) hopes to turn things around on Wednesday, October 3rd when they travel to Golden West College.  Game time is at 6:00 pm.
