On Wednesday night, the Hornets worked their way to a nice 3-1 road-win against OEC rival Santiago Canyon College.
It was a needed win for the Hornets, who have struggled this season with only two victories. The team has heart and the will to persevere beating a Santiago Canyon squad that had beaten them 3-0 on September 29th.
After falling behind in the opening game, Fullerton stormed back to win it 25-20. The Hornets kept their momentum rolling in the second game taking it 25-15, but then dropped the third game 25-22 in a close battle. In the fourth and final game, Fullerton finished off the Hawks with another 25-20 win to take the match.
Up Next: Fullerton (2-19 overall, 1-11 OEC) will play their next OEC game at home this Friday, November 3rd against No. 8 in state Irvine Valley College at 6:00 pm.
