WOMEN'S WATER POLO: OFF TO STATE
The FC women's water polo team hopped on a bus bound for Sacramento's American River College this morning where they be one of four teams competing at the State Championship Tournament.
The #1 South Hornets (33-0) will put their unbeaten record to the test on Friday at 1:00 pm when they take on the North's #2 team Foothill College (18-7). The last time these two teams met was earlier this season with Fullerton beating the Owls 13-5 at the Cuesta College Tournament on October 4th.
The North's #1 team also has an unbeaten team in Diablo Valley College (25-0), who will play #2 South Riverside City College (26-5) on Friday at 9:00 am. All five of the Tiger's losses came against Fullerton.
This is the second time in Fullerton's history that they have made it to the State Championship. In 2012, the Hornet team was the State Runner-up falling to Golden West College 12-7 in the title game hosted by Diablo Valley College. This year, the Hornets are determined to win it all.
