WOMEN'S GOLF: TIGHT RACE

FC tied for 3rd place in the 8th Orange Empire Conference event at Costa Mesa on Monday.

The Hornets as tied Palomar College and just missed second place by two strokes to Irvine Valley.

Kacy Kachi led Fullerton shooting an 80 on the day, while Tiffany Kohyama backed her up shooting 84.

With only a couple of OEC matches left, it is a close race for second place in the overall standings with IVC holding a slight edge over Fullerton. College of the Desert has run away with first place this season.
