The #1 Hornets almost let the whole season slip away on Sunday losing to #4 Palomar College in the first game of the day 8-0, and then they came out flat in the second game against the Comets digging themselves into a 6-0 hole.

The #1 Fullerton College Hornets (29-12) came to play today beating #4 Palomar College (27-13) 5-1 advancing to the championship game of the SoCal Super Regionals to be played on Sunday on Hornet Field at 11:00 am.

Nine Fullerton College baseball players were selected to the All-Orange Empire Conference Team last night at the OEC coaches meeting. FC center fielder Dakota Wix led the bunch as he was voted the 2013 OEC "Player of the Year".

FC traveled south to Golden West College on Thursday beating the Rustlers 12-4 to wrap up the regular season.

It's been 30 years since their last conference championship (1983 in the South Coast Conference) and the Fullerton College baseball team finally got one on Saturday afternoon beating Cypress College 12-6 on the road to lock it up.
