BASEBALL: MOUNTAINEERS & SPARTANS

Two more Hornets signed with four-year colleges this past week with KC Huth going to WVU and Austin Sweet to Oklahoma Baptist.

Sophomore right fielder KC Huth accepted a scholarship to West Virginia University.

KC was an all OEC 2nd Team Outfielder for the Hornets and will bring his skill and enthusiasm for the game to the Mountaineers. This year was a great season for the sophomore outfielder who hit .350, with 11 Doubles, 4 Triples, a Home Run, 32 RBI's and 14 Stolen Bases. He also led the outfield in assists with 4.

"The Hornet family is proud of KC's great season and know that he will be a great success in the future", Head Baseball Coach Nick Fuscardo.

Sophomore RHP Austin Sweet signed with Missouri Baptist.  A big Right hander with great velocity, Sweet finished this season with a 3-2 record and 3 saves.

"Austin's future is bright and he will be a great addition to Missouri Baptist", claimed Fuscardo.
