BASEBALL: VEGA SIGNS WITH SONOMA STATE!
Sophomore pitcher Nick Vega, a 6-2 right handed pitcher out of Yorba Linda High, signed a baseball/academic scholarship with the Seawolves late last week.
Vega maintained a 2.81 ERA this past season. He threw 25.2 innings with 3 wins and 2 losses and had 26 strikeouts.
"Nick has been a workhorse for the Hornets for the past two seasons and is now prepared to excel on the university level. He is an outstanding young man from a fantastic family who will contribute greatly to the Sonoma State baseball program", Hornet Head Coach Nick Fuscardo.
