BASEBALL: TOUSIGNANT SIGNS WITH CAL POLY POMONA
Sophomore pitcher Connor Tousignant (Brea Olinda High) accepted a scholarship to Cal Poly Pomona late last week.
During his two-year career at Fullerton College, Tousignant totaled a 7-7 record, with 96 strikeouts, and 35 walks. His career ERA stands at 3.88. Connor was an All-Orange Empire Conference Pitcher in 2018 and earned conference "Honorable Mention" honors this season.
The Broncos are having another successful season winning the CCAA Tournament title, which earns them a bid as the No. 5 seed in the NCAA Division II West Regional Championship Tournament. Cal Poly Pomona will play this Thursday in Azusa against No. 4 Cal State Monterey Bay.
