FOOTBALL: HORNETS FLYING HIGH IN UTAH

Former Hornet teammates (2010-11) York and Norwood continue their successful football careers together at Utah.

As Utes, RB Kelvin York and WR Geoff Norwood took on the UCLA last Thursday night for a PAC-12 match-up.  Utah may have fell short against the Bruins, but both York and Norwood made an impact in the game. York led Utah on the ground rushing the ball 13 times for 51 yards while Norwood had 3 catches for 24 yards and 4 punt returns for 22 yards.

"It was a great win for UCLA football, and it was fun watching my former Hornet running backs go against us tonight.  They gained our team's respect with York running through us and Norwood running around us", Former Hornet Coach and UCLA Defensive Assistant Phil Austin.

Utah is 3-2 overall and 0-2 in conference.  York and Norwood will continue to make an impact in college football next week when Utah faces No. 5 Stanford next week.
