FOOTBALL: SIGNING DAY

With signing day in full swing, the Hornet Football team has nine players that will move on to four year colleges with more to com later this spring.

Fullerton College 2015 Football Signings

1. QB Joey Verhaegh - Old Dominion University
A smart QB with a strong arm, Joey compiled 2,515 passing yards (212-376-56.4%), 18 TDs, 8 interceptions in 11 games in 2014. 

2. OT Matt Norman - University of Hawaii
A 6-7 offensive lineman with good feet and a great attitude.

3. K/P Casey Eyman - Portland State University
In 11 games during the 2014 season, Eyman was 11 of 12 on field goals attempted with his longest at 45 yards. He was 41 of 43 on extra point attempts.

4. DB Marnez Ogletree - University of Kansas
Played in 8 games with 21 total tackles (15 solo) with 7 breakups and 1 interception. On kickoff returns Ogletree is dangerous with 3 TD returns for 551 yards. His longest return was 100 yards. 

5. DE Tolu Fieeiki - University of Hawaii
An imposing 6-6 defensive end who played in 10 games with 22 tackles (14 solo) and 3 sacks.

6. DT Kourey Gabriel - Northern Arizona University
Quick and powerful, Gabriel anchored the d-line for the Hornets playing in 10 games with 25 tackles (16 solo), 2 fumble recoveries, and 4 sacks. 

7. OL Lance Cox - Northern Arizona University
A 6-2 320 pound offensive lineman who can move with speed and agility.

8. LB Jarrot Thomas - Angelo St University
Played in 10 games in 2014 and can flat out hit with power and speed. He had 65 tackles (40 solo) with 3 breakups.

9. LB Josh Eubanks - Prairie View A&M
Played in 7 games for the Hornets in 2014 with 6 tackles and 1 fumble recovery.
