FOOTBALL: RECORD BREAKER HONORED
Earlier this week, Hornet kick returner Kashan Griffin was chosen as the National Division Player of the Week (Special Teams).
It was a well-deserved honor as Griffin broke the FC school record for most kick returns in a season capping off his fourth against San Diego Mesa last Saturday. It was an 85-yard return to start the second half. He nearly had another later in the game but was tackled on the 15-yard line. On the season, Kashan has 4 kick return TDs for a total of 681 yards.
