FOOTBALL: RISON TO THE OCCASION

Hornet standout receiver Hunter Rison will be studying and playing at Grand Valley State University.

Playing in 7 games for the Fullerton College football team, Rison was stellar for the Hornets with 36 receptions for 604 yards, and 7 touchdowns. His first full game came against Ventura College where he posted 7 receptions for 141 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

"Hunter is an exceptional player who loves the game of football. He's matured a lot, and I'm excited for the person and player that Coach Mitchell is getting. I know his staff will do a great job of putting Hunter in a position to be successful", Hornet Head Football Coach Garrett Campbell.   

It has been a long winding road for the young gifted footballer who has risen above all of the challenges that have come his way. Life is always full of those tough challenges, and Hunter will be ready to break through them.
