M. BASKETBALL: STEVENSON TO THE NAIA SHIP
Lewis-Clark State player, and former Hornet, Khalil Stevenson will play in tonight's NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship game tonight.
The big game will feature No. 3 Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) and No. 5 Shawnee State (Ohio) tonight at 5:00 pm in a battle for the red banner in Kansas City.
Stevenson played for the Hornets during the 2017-18 season averaging 10.2 points per game along with 4 rebounds a game. Khalil was also a 2nd team All-Orange Empire Conference selection.
A senior this season, the 6-3 guard has started in all 23 games played thus far for the Warriors averaging 7.7 points a game with 3.7 rebounds. Sporting a 22-1 overall record, the Lewis-Clark State men's basketball program will be playing in their first-ever national title game.

UPDATE 3-25-21: Shawnee State won their first national title beating Lewis-Clark State 74-68. Despite the loss, Khalil Stevenson had an outstanding game scoring 19 points with 3 rebounds.
