MEN'S SOCCER: NAIL-BITING PLAYOFF VICTORY

Fullerton pulled off a dramatic sudden death victory at home on Saturday eclipsing MiraCosta College 6-5 on penalty kicks. 

The Hornets fell behind 2-0, but turned it around in the second half tying up the game 2-2.

Ronnie Cruz scored the first goal for FC at 69 minutes on a shot from 25-yards out with the assist by William Rodriguez.

Fullerton tied the game up in the 74th minute on a shot by Jose Garcia with the assist coming from Manuel Gonzalez.

With the game coming down to place kicks, each team exchanged three apiece before Armando Corral kicked the winning goal past MiraCosta's GK with the authority.
