MEN'S SOCCER: HORNETS OVER WARRIORS

Fullerton hosted El Camino College on Tuesday and managed to grab their first win on the season with a 3-2 victory over the Warriors.

The Hornets drew first blood on a header off of a rebound by Eduin Munguia to go up 1-0 in the 17th minute.

FC struck again in the 38th minute when Alec Afarian scored with the assist coming from Jose Gutierrez.

El Camino cut into the Hornet lead on an unassisted breakaway goal by Victor Hernandez.

FC's Reuben Navarro scored an unassisted goal in the 42nd minute of the game giving Fullerton a 3-1 lead.

Hernandez struck again with another unassisted goal at the 65-minute mark.

Solid defense by the Hornets helped preserve the team's first win on the season.

GK Juan Ramirez had 2 goals against with 1 save on the day.

Up Next: Fullerton (1-3) will play at San Bernardino College this Friday, September 11th. Game time is at 4:00 pm.
