MEN'S SOCCER: HORNETS AND DONS ALL TIED UP

The FC men's soccer team hosted Santa Ana College on Tuesday with the game ending in a 1-1 tie.

The tie gives the Hornets an overall record of 2-5-1 and an Orange Empire Conference record of 0-0-1. The Dons now sit at 1-4-3 overall and 0-0-1 in the OEC.

Santa Ana scored the first goal of the game in the 21st minute on a unassisted kick by Carlos Barrios.

The Hornets did not answer back until the 82nd minute of the match when Alec Afarian drove down field with the ball and was fouled as he shot. Afarian made the Dons pay with a successful place kick to tie of the game.

Goal Keeper Juan Carlos Ramirez had 6 saves with 1 goal against on the day.

Up Next: Fullerton will hit the road for another OEC match-up against Irvine Valley College this Friday, October 2nd. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
