M. SOCCER: A WCC TITLE FOR LMU'S WOOD!

Former Hornet soccer star's Loyola Marymount squad wins the West Coast Conference championship!

The Lions finished the regular season an undefeated 6-0-2 and are have now earned an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.

Wood, a red-shirt senior, played in 7 games this season and will look to contribute more next year on a team that will have many talented players coming back.

The Lions will find out who their opponent will be on April 19th when the NCAA announces its selections for the championship tournament. The first round will be held on April 29th with the games being held throughout the state of North Carolina.
