MEINARDUS & WESTWOOD: A PACKAGE DEAL TO CAL STATE SAN MARCOS

Two more Hornets have signed with a four-year college in Ryan Meinardus and DJ Westwood. Both sophomores will be playing for Cal State San Marcos next fall.

Ryan Meinardus will be a tough spot to fill for the Hornets next fall. A two-time All-Orange Empire Conference first teamer, Ryan led Fullerton in goals scored last season with 5, and also led the team in assists with 4. For his career as a Hornet, Meinardus totaled 13 goals and 12 assists.

Voted to the All-Orange Empire Conference team as an honorable mention, DJ Westwood's defensive skills will be missed. An aggressive defender with speed to boot, DJ also scored a goal and had an assist for FC last season.
