MEN'S TRACK & FIELD: WALKER IMPRESSES AT RIVERSIDE

A very windy, dry, hot day out at Riverside City College made for some tough conditions in this conference track meet.

Justin Walker continued his winning ways, taking the 110mHH in a time of 14.65 seconds, edging out his Riverside opponent by 5/100 of a second. Walker also took 2nd in the Long Jump and teammate Delynn Holland was 3rd.

The men's 4 x 100m relay took 2nd and will look to continue improving as they head into the conference championships.

Najee Morrison and James Gilmore both took 3rd place in the 100m and 400mIH, respectively.

Josh Spillane took 2nd place in his flight of the Discus, throwing 37.26m.

Up Next: The season is quickly winding down as this coming Friday, April 22nd is the Orange Empire Conference Preliminaries at Orange Coast College. Events begin at 11:00 am.
