MEN'S TRACK & FIELD: WALKER AN ALL-AMERICAN!
Justin Walker ended his freshman season as an All-American in the Long Jump, taking 4th place with a jump of 7.13m (23ft. 4.5 inches).
Walker had a great season, posting personal bests of 7.50m in the Long Jump and 14.34 seconds in the 110m HH. He ranked in the top three in both events for most of the season.
"Many university coaches have expressed strong interest in having Justin compete for their programs and those coaches were surprised to learn that he is just a freshman. Justin is a fierce competitor and wants to come back and be a state champion next season", claimed Head Coach Sean Sheil.
