Prior to FC, Anderson was a coach at Esperanza High School for the Men’s and Women’s Varsity and Junior Varsity programs the last six years.

Coach Anderson played as an Aztec for four years and was the setter on the 2007 team that won an undefeated Sunset League title, a CIF Division 1 Championship, and was voted the State Tea of the Year. Anderson was also named the “Player of the Year” at the conclusion of record-setting season.

After graduation, Anderson went on to play volleyball for the Lancers at Cal-Baptist University in Riverside. There he met his wife Jessica, who played for the Lancer’s women’s team. They have been happily married for five years, living in Ladera Ranch, and have a two-year-old son, Parker.

Coach Anderson graduated from Cal-Baptist with a degree in Kinesiology in 2013, as well as obtaining a Single Subject Teaching Credential from National University. He is currently on the road to earning his Master’s Degree in Education. After earning a teaching credential, Anderson has started teaching Earth Science at his alma mater. He is excited to continue this journey with the Hornets and bring this Men’s Volleyball program to new heights.
