HORNET RUNNERS WARMING UP

HORNET RUNNERS WARMING UP: The Hornet cross country team took part in the Palomar Invitational last Friday kicking off their 2012 season.

The FC women's team placed 5th out of 10 teams with 112 points.

1. Cerritos – 31 2. Palomar – 93 3. RCC – 98 4. Saddleback – 110 5. Fullerton

Out of 94 total runners, Hornet freshman Maegan Garritson was the 3rd overall runner with an impressive time of 20:08.

The FC men's team placed 7th out of 8 teams competing with 171 points.

Hornet freshman Saul Ruiz was the 27th overall runner, out of 70 competitors, with a time of 23:22.

Up Next: The Hornets will run in the SoCal Preview at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa.  Start time will be at 9:30 am.
