MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: TWO QUALIFY FOR STATE

Brandon Velsaco, and Manny Ruiz put their best foot forward at the SoCal Championships qualifying for the State Championships on Friday.

Velasco placed 45th out of 203 competitors with a finish of 21:22. Ruiz came in 75th with a time of 21:47.

The Hornet team placed 20th out of 28 teams with a final score of 492 points. 

"These guys have been solid for us throughout the season, and they're hard work simply paid off", Coach Wade Watkins.
