MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: THE OEC CHAMPIONSHIPS

At the Orange Empire Conference Championships at Central Park (Huntington Beach) last Friday, the FC men's team stood at the starting line with the seven OEC teams eager to compete in the championships.

Hornet Xavier Chavez ran 16 seconds faster than his previous race on the course and led the team to crossing the line again as number one man.

Ethan Sheatz ran across the finish line as FC's second man followed by Evan Bonnand who was 37 seconds behind Sheatz.

Finishing fourth and fifth for FC were Aaron Franklin and Wesley Maidlow followed by Oscar Barrios.

"Our gaps were too big and needed to be closer in groups this race. They ran their best, and I'm proud of their final kicks to the finish line", Hornet Head Coach Bevec.

As a team, Fullerton finished in sixth place wrapping up their season. The top five teams in Orange Empire Conference will now move on to the Southern California Regional Championships.
