MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY: BRUBAKER CLASSIC

Running in the Brubaker Classic on Friday, Fullerton placed 8th out of 17 teams (271 points).

The men have presented themselves well with placing in the top five for team scores in the past several meets. They continue to work hard every week, staying steady in their training, and gearing up for the conference and southern regional championships in November.

Leading the pack for the Hornets was Ian Rusk who finished in 4th out of 187 runners with a 20:55 finish. Mauro Rosales ran for second man in 21:40. Mauro and Ian have been trading places with being the 1-2 guys. Their racing closer together this season and every week they put on a great performance.  Sean Wing (22:53) and William Gerard (23:38) remain at the 3-4 man place trading places each week. David Chairunas finishes out our team with the fifth man spot.

"Ian has been staying in the top ten places in his previous races working hard and dropping his times every week", said Hornet Head Coach Gina Bevec.

Up Next: FC will compete in the Mt. San Antonio Invitational on Friday, October 18th at 10:00 am.
