ALL-OEC TEAM

ALL-OEC TEAM: Following the completion of the 2013 season, the Orange Empire Conference softball head coaches selected the All-Orange Empire Conference Team. FC softball's lone sophomore Nicole Chapman made the team. Chapman (Orange Lutheran HS) was selected 2nd Team All-OEC hitting .398, with 39 hits, 26 RBI's, 20 runs, and 2 stolen bases.

Along with the players selected to the First and Second Teams, the Most Valuable Player, Most Valuable Pitcher and Coach of the Year honors were awarded.

Co-conference champions Riverside City College took the Most Valuable Player and Pitcher awards with Natalie Barrios being named Most Valuable Player and Chelsea Ponce being named Most Valuable Pitcher.

The Coach of the Year award was given to Lisa Camarco, head coach at Santiago Canyon College, as she guided the Hawks to a third place finish with a 14-7 record in conference competition.

Barrios received her recognition as she led the conference in home runs (9) and RBI (27). She also finished fifth with her .431 batting average. Her teammate, Ponce, led the conference with a 1.06 ERA while compiling an 11-2 record in conference. The complete All-Orange Empire Conference list is below.
