The 2015 California Community College Athletic Association Softball Playoffs seeds have been announced with #12 Fullerton College heading to #5 El Camino College for a first round showdown.
The Hornets finished the regular season with an overall record of 23-16, while the Warriors ended with a 30-10 overall and the South Coast title (their second since 1989).
During the 2015 regular season, Fullerton and El Camino met twice. In their first meeting on March 7th on Hornet Field, FC won in a close one 4-3. In their second meeting at the Santa Barbara City Tournament on March 29th, the Warriors edged the Hornets 7-6 in extra innings (9).
Fullerton will travel to El Camino for a best of three match-up beginning this Saturday, May 2nd. Game times are 2:00 pm on Saturday and 12:00 pm on Sunday and 2:00 pm on Sunday (if needed). The winner will advance to the Super Regionals.
