SOFTBALL: BRING THE HORNET STORM

The Lady Hornets put a stop to their three-game losing streak on Saturday beating #5 in SoCal Cerritos College 10-1 in a non-conference game.

After seeing a drop in their hitting the last three games (9 total hits), Fullerton broke loose for 11 hits as they went on to mercy the Falcons in five innings.

Anissa Loera got it started opening up the game with a three-run blast over the fence for her second home run of the season. From there, the Hornets rolled as Becca Perez, Alexis Pintado, Tiffany Centeno, and Loera woke their bats up with a multi-hit game.

FC starting pitcher Brigid Ruiz (17-11) took the win going 5 innings on 8 hits, 1 earned run, with 7 K's, and no walks.
