SOFTBALL: HOLIDAY HORNETS LEND HELPING HAND

On Friday, the FC softball team had their annual Christmas Party, and then went out with the Pathways Of Hope donating gifts and spreading holiday cheer to the less fortunate.

After that, the Hornets hit the streets of downtown Fullerton where they fed and clothed those in need. They handed out blankets, clothing, 150 beanies, scarfs, etc. To top it off, the Fullerton College coaching staff cooked up some warm pasta with French bread and were able to feed some very hungry folks.

"It really was an awesome experience. When we ran out of blankets and jackets, some of the girls went to their vehicles and gave their personal blankets and jackets away. We want to thank the Fullerton College Admission's and Records staff (Leslie Livelo and crew) for their donations. It's all about giving back to our community this time of year", said Hornet co-head coach Marian "Speedy" Mendoza.

After winning 38 games last season, the Hornet softball team is ready to begin the 2020 season in late January. Make sure to come out and support this dedicated team!
