Fullerton did their best to shake Irvine Valley College on the road Tuesday but ended up settling for a 2-2 tie.
The Hornet's record moved to 3-6-2 overall and 2-3-1 in the Orange Empire Conference, while Irvine Valley saw its record go to 3-5-2 overall and 1-3-2 in the OEC.
FC took an early 1-0 lead at 6:25 into the game on a shot by Celene Medina. The assist came from Angela Gjonovich.
Early in the second half, IVC scored two goals in a two-minute span to take the lead against the Hornets.
Fullerton answered with a goal later in the 67th minute on a shot by Madison Wells with the assist by Crystal Foutris.
Goalie Mallory VanVoorhis allowed 2 goals with 4 saves in 90 minutes of play.
