WOMEN'S SOCCER: HORNET ON THE ACADEMIC ALL-STATE TEAM
The CCCAA Academic All-State team was announced this week with Fullerton College sophomore Crystal Foutris making the team.
Recipients of this honor have completed at least one season of soccer, at least 24 units, and have earned a 3.5 GPA or higher.
A Business Administration major, Foutris has worked very hard on and off the field scoring 2 goals, and leads the team with 4 assists in 16 games so far this season... all done with a 4.0 GPA.
"Crystal is truly an intelligent player that works hard everyday. The drive, determination, and focus that she has for soccer doesn't stop on the field, it's her approach to life. I know Crystal will be successful in any endeavor she chooses; she already has the skills to succeed", Coach Pam Lewin.
Foutris is the only student-athlete in the Orange Empire Conference to be named on the 2015 Academic All-State team.
