WOMEN'S SOCCER: FOUTRIS AN ALL-AMERICAN SCHOLAR!

Hornet soccer player Crystal Foutris was recently honored in Baltimore, Maryland after being selected to the 2015 Junior College Women's Scholar All-America Team.

For her honor, Foutris was sent a special invite and attended the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Luncheon where she accepted her award.

The event honors players at the youth, high school and college levels and is held in conjunction with the 69th annual NSCAA Convention.

There were nearly 1,400 attendees at the luncheon held in Baltimore. It is an extraordinary event celebrating the best amateur soccer players in the United States.

"I'm so proud Crystal. She is an outstanding athlete and an excellent student. She is very deserving of the NSCAA Academic honor, and I'm happy she was able to travel to Baltimore and have such a great experience", FC Head Coach Pam Lewin.
