The Hornets managed a 1-1 tie with visiting Norco College last Friday.
The Mustangs scored an early goal in the first five minutes on a 30-yard shot from Kassandra Ramirez.
Down 1-0 in the 51st minute, sophomore Amalia Serna took the ball out to the right side then kicked one under the crossbar to tie the game up for good. Freshman Brooke Morris chipped in with the assist.
Hornet Goal Keeper Marla Debarros allowed a goal and had 5 saves in 90 minutes of play.
Up Next: FC (2-7-2 overall, 0-5-2 OEC) will play at Saddleback College on Tuesday, October 11th at 3:00 pm.
