W. SOCCER: FLORES-SALAS COMMITS TO WESTCLIFF
Sophomore midfielder Melissa Flores-Salas signed with Westcliff University earlier this week.
A two-year player from El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, Melissa's positive attitude and field skills helped the Hornets to two playoff appearances.
"Melissa reads the game well. She can make the pass in those tight paces to lead the forward to the goal. She's very coachable and played in different positions for us. I'm happy that she is going to continue her athletic and academic pursuits with the Warriors", Hornet Head Coach Pam Lewin.
