WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD: WILLIAMS BREAKS RECORD
The 2015 Southern California Heptathlon Regional Championships were held last Tuesday and Wednesday at San Diego Mesa College with Jasmine Williams representing Fullerton College in her second Heptathlon of the season. She locked down a second place finish, a new 800 meter Heptathlon school record, and her ticket to the state meet in May at San Mateo College in this event.
The previous school record holder was Joanne Markling who ran 2:24.59 in 1989. Jasmine ran 2:19.85 and that was a personal record for her by eight seconds.
