WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD: SOCAL REGIONAL PRELIMS
The Hornets took part in the SoCal Prelims at Cerritos College this past Saturday and served as a qualifying round to the SoCal Championships that will be held next week.
Four Hornets qualified. Jasmine Williams will compete in the javelin, long jump, and high jump events. Andrea Mendez will double in the 800m and 1500m races. Fanny Giron will run the open 400m, and teammate Samantha Duong has the 400m Hurdles.
The Regional Championships will be a qualifying meet for the State meet that will be held on May 15-16th at San Mateo College.
Up Next: The SoCal Regional Championships at Cerritos College. Field Events begin at noon and the Track Events begin at 2:00 pm.
