WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD: AND THEY'RE OFF
The Hornets opened up the 2016 season at Bakersfield College this past Friday for the Battle of the Regions Invitational.
Samantha Duong won the 400m hurdles and Jasmine Mendoza took third place.
Cydney Chavers finished in third place in shot put and discus. Madison Fitzpatrick took fifth place in shot put, and Amber Hernandez opened up her season with sixth place in the hammer throw.
Up Next: On Friday, February 19th, the Hornets will compete at Saddleback College against Orange Empire Conference rivals Saddleback and Orange Coast Colleges. Events will begin at noon.
