WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD: DUONG ALL-AMERICAN!
Sophomore Samantha Duong entered the State Championships, held at San Diego Mesa College over the weekend, and leapt away as an All-American in the 400 meter hurdles!
Duong finished third overall in the 400 meter hurdles qualifying her as an All American Athlete.
Samantha ran her hurdle race in 1:04.79 just behind Stephanie Fernandez of Santa Rosa, who posted a 1:03.12 time. The winner in this event was from Mt SAC, Brittany Mitchell who ran 1:02.59.
Sam finished out her season here for the Hornets on a season-high. She came into the competition ranked third in the state and finished third in the state.
