SAND VOLLEYBALL: HORNET BEACH CLUB TEAM MAKING WAVES

The Hornet women's sand volleyball club team took second place out of twenty-eight teams at the final ISVC Championships last week.

Women's sand volleyball was recently approved by the CCCAA and will be a sanctioned intercollegiate competitive sport next spring.

This sport was pioneered in 2009 with Fullerton College and Irvine Valley College first competiting on the sand.
