The Lady Hornet volleyball team welcomed Riverside City College into the South Gym on Wednesday night knocking off the Tigers three games to one.
FC took the first game 25-18 and then struggled in the second falling 25-19. After that, Fullerton took control winning the next two game 25-23 and 25-22.
The win gives the Hornets their first win in the Orange Empire Conference and an overall record of 6-4, while the Tiger loss lands them at 7-3 overall and 0-2 in the OEC.
Alex Winfield led the way for Fullerton knocking down 12 kills with 25 assists and 4 digs. Shanwnee Longmeyer had a big game with 11 kills, and 4 block assists. Carly Bergen had 30 assists, 5 digs, and 2 aces. Mikki Sale accumulated 12 digs, and Grace Lopez contributed 9 kills.
