W. VOLLEYBALL: 3 IN A ROW

The Hornets played their hearts out on the road against Riverside City on Friday and it paid off with a 3-2 victory.

It was Fullerton's third Orange Empire Conference win bumping the team to a 7-5 record, while the Riverside loss knocks them to 2-10 in the OEC.

Dropping the first two sets, Fullerton fought back to win the next three straight sets to win the match (22-25, 24-26, 25-21, 25-21, 16-14).

Once again, Faith Webb outdid herself hammering a season-high 20 kills for the Hornets. Her previous high of 17 was had in the last match against Cypress. Hannah Wilmes was not too far behind as she hit her season-high of 15 kills. McKenna Mokry delivered with 12 kills, while Jade McIntire and Alexis Zander chipped in with 5. Alicia Isa Domingo kept very busy dishing out 35 assists. Hannah Tobin led FC in digs with 21.

Up Next: Fullerton (13-10 overall, 7-5 OEC) will look to keep their winning ways going when they host Saddleback College on Wednesday, November 3rd at 6:00 pm.
