CLASH OF THE TITANS: Ranked 4th in the State, the Hornets hosted #2 Riverside College on Wednesday and knocked off the Tigers 11-10 in triple overtime.

Fullerton spotted RCC 4 goals in the first few minutes of the game, but the Hornets rallied back to make it an exciting back-and-forth duel.

Riverside's bigggest lead was 8-2 in the 3rd quarter, unitl the Hornet defense came to life allowing the Tigers only 2 more goals for the rest of the game.

FC goalie Lindsey Catron came up big with some impressive stops on Tiger power-plays with the scored tied at 10 a piece.  For the game, Catron had 22 blocks, 3 steals, and 1 assist.

Freshman Leilani Vasquez threw in the winning goal in sudden death to give FC the win.

In the history of FC women's water polo, the Hornets have never beaten Riverside College until now.
