The FC women's water polo squad hosted Santa Ana College for an Orange Empire Conference game on Wednesday marking one in the win column with a 20-3 victory.
The Hornets opened up with an 8-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back as they controlled the pace of the game scoring at will.
Sophomore Marissa Vaccher led the way for Fullerton scoring 7 goals and grabbing 2 steals. Gabbi Perez scored 4 goals with 7 assists, and Bianca Vera tossed in 6 goals with 3 assists and 5 steals. Veronica Ramirez chipped in with 2 goals and 5 steals.
Goal Keepers Natalie Manzanares and Maddi Garcia held the Dons to 3 total goals and had a total of 15 saves. Manzaneres had 9 and Garcia had 6.
Up Next: The Hornets (11-4 overall, 2-1 OEC) will play in the Ventura College Tournament October 7-8.
