Fullerton hit the road for an Orange Empire Conference game at Santa Ana on Wednesday and won big 18-8 over the Dons.
The Hornets pulled no punches scoring early and often. By the end of the first quarter, FC was all over Santa Ana 8-1. The second quarter saw much of the same action with Fullerton scoring at will. The score at halftime was 15-2.
With a hefty lead going into the second half, Fullerton cruised past the Dons for an Orange Empire Conference victory.
The win evens out FC's conference record at 3-3, while the Don's loss keeps them winless in the OEC at 0-6.
Three Hornets came through with a hat-trick in Krizanne Bernil (3 goals), Nicole Tan (3 goals), and Nina Whipp (3 goals). Veronica Ramirez and Bianca Vera both tallied 2 goals each.
Up Next: Fullerton (12-14 overall, 3-3 OEC) will play in the Orange Empire Conference Championships November 2-4 at Cypress College.
